WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Philippine Embassy served hundreds of Filipinos in Georgia and neighboring states during a consular outreach conducted in Atlanta on May 9 to 11, 2026.
Led by Consul General Zoilo A. Velasco, the Embassy’s team rendered various consular services, including the processing of 88 passport applications and the reacquisition of Philippine citizenship of 101 individuals.
The three-day outreach, organized with assistance from the Filipino community in Atlanta, reached hundreds of attendees and reaffirmed the Embassy’s commitment to serve Filipinos under its jurisdiction. The last outreach in Atlanta was in 2024.
