WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Philippine Embassy in Washington, D.C. registered a total of 288 overseas Filipino voters during a field registration conducted in Atlanta, Georgia on 9 to 11 May 2026.
Overseas voter registration requires personal appearance at the Philippine Embassy. The field registration enabled Filipinos in Georgia and neighboring states to register as voters without the need to travel to Washington DC, which will eventually allow them to exercise their right to suffrage for the national elections.
Since the start of the registration period on 01 December 2025, over 1,800 Filipinos have registered with the Embassy. Registered overseas voters can vote for President, Vice President, Senators, and Party-List Representative in 2028. Registration ends on 30 September 2027.
